Canine Groom School in Lancashire is an accredited City & Guilds training centre, that offers both Level 2 and Level 3 City & Guilds Dog Grooming Qualifications.
Level 2 = 10 days training, all dates can be delivered using our flexi course option meaning you choose and book your dates from our availability. £1,995 inc vat.

ICMG Qualification in Dog Grooming
Our Canine Groom School in Lancashire is one of a few accredited ICMG (International Certified Master Groomer) Training Schools in the UK. Students on our dog grooming courses can be qualified through to CAPG ( Certified Advanced Professional Groomer ) Level. If students then choose to over their next years in the grooming industry they can then continue on to achieve their Masters. ( ICMG )
Course dates are 17 or 30 days.Our CPG part of ICMG 17 day course consists of 15 practical training days with one of the most sought after teams in the UK. plus 1 day practical exams day, plus 1 day business and marketing workshop with one of the companys Directors Steve.

Canine Groom School enables you to complete multiple dog grooming course qualifications at the same time, Our Gold Qualification will give you both of these amazing qualifications.
*City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 Diploma

We say to every student thinking of doing the Gold -“this course will not make you twice the groomer but it may make you stand out from the crowd having two very respected qualifications at once” this unique course not only saves you time but also money and will make you into a very rare multi qualification holding groomer giving your new business the edge.
Course dates are 31 days and can be delivered in our unique ” super flexi ” this means students can choose the training dates that fit into and around their life, as long as our availability allows it.

Already in the dog grooming industry but not officially qualified? Running your own business and need an accredited qualification?
We can now offer you the chance just to gain your qualification with us. Poppy and the team will determine where your skills are at in order to determine how many days you would need with us to get your techniques to standard to gain the qualifications desired. This time frame will then determine our price quote to you.

In House Diploma
We also offer our very own 24.5 day In-House Diploma here at Canine Groom School. This enables you to have a similar practical training as the other dog grooming courses but without the theory or exam aspects of the course.
This course is shorter and cheaper than the others, however due to the grooming industry getting regulated in the not so distance future we never actively promote this course to possible students as the new regulation will almost certainly ask for a recognised qualification. If this is of no concern to you and are happy with the skill set but no “official qualifications” then this can be a great cost effective option.
Please be aware of this if other schools are offering their own ” In House Diplomas ” at a reduced price. In- House Diploma = 24.5 day course in total, 24 actual days training, 1/2 day business workshop and free online canine first aid course.
