Delete your account

In the app

1. Sign in to the Canine Groom School app.
2. Open Help or your profile and find Privacy & account.
3. Choose Delete account and confirm your request.

Your account will stop participating in the network while the request is processed. The confirmation means your request was accepted; it is not a claim that every service-provider copy has already been erased.

Without the app

Email info@caninegroomschool.co.uk with the subject “Canine Groom School app account deletion”. Include the email address associated with your account. You do not need to reinstall the app or create another account.

We may ask you to verify that you control the account before removing it. Never send us your password. We will confirm receipt, explain the expected completion time and any retention exception, and notify you when the request is completed.

What happens to your data

Deletion removes your login, profile details and photos, app applications, notifications and associated member records. It is permanent. Information held independently by a business, or separate training, funding, safeguarding or legal records that the school must retain, is subject to its own obligations. Provider logs and backups may remain until their applicable retention period ends.

See our privacy notice for the criteria used to decide retention. We will explain any information that must be retained and why when handling your request. Contact us if you want to delete particular information without closing your account.
